T3 Tactical Team Training has been developed from research conducted by the US Navy in the wake of the accidental shooting down of Iran Air Flight IR655. This investigated the qualities required by high performing teams operating in a high stakes environment.
'Tactical Decision Making Under Stress' (TADMUS) was the name of this research project, conducted over seven years and involving key members of Gary Klein's 'Naturalistic Decision Making School' such as Janis Cannon-Bowers and Eduardo Salas. In this presentation we outline the key dimensions of team performance uncovered by the TADMUS project.
